The cultural association 'VIA CRUCIS VIVENTE' was born September 15 1999 will of a group of people who for years lends itself to the creation of the Via Crucis Vivente in Cervaro, a town of low Lazio, which has about 7000 people. The VIA CRUCIS VIVENTE is a religious event that takes place at night between the streets of the country. On the evening of Friday, as now wants to tradition, the sacred representation relives events of the last earthly life of Jesus Christ culminating with his evocative crucifixion and resurrection. From about twenty years in fact, the members of the association are committed directly to organize, helping build and supplies used scenic, technical and costumes by increasing consistency and improving what already exists. So the reason that prompted them to join together is the large amount of work necessary for the success of the event and also the desire to keep alive this long tradition that Cervaro brings with it for over forty years. Started in 1963, the “VIA CRUCIS VIVENTE” of Cervaro is a manifestation sensitivity for our citizens of Cervaro that every year involving more than 300 people. The association is composed of young and old. And is this the winning formula that has led to big goals this group. In fact the experience of veterans and the desire to do by young people was a perfect blend of the great amount of work that is performed every year.
